Dronninglund Fjernvarme wanted to improve communication with its consumers with an informative film and interactive brochure. The website in particular lacked updated information and content to engage consumers and ensure that Dronninglund Fjernvarme’s values and offers were presented in the best possible way.
To achieve this, Dronninglund Fjernvarme partnered with JS Danmark, who according to Stig Markussen, Operations Manager at Dronninglund Fjernvarme: “is known for its ability to create effective communication solutions”.
A greener future with sustainable heat
Dronninglund Fjernvarme is working towards a greener future by delivering reliable, customer-oriented and sustainable heat at a good price. At a time when the climate is one of the biggest issues, it is necessary to reach carbon neutrality quickly. District heating plants play an important role in this development by using economical and environmentally friendly energy sources. The focus has shifted from oil and gas to more sustainable alternatives such as wood chips, biomass, surplus heat, solar and wind energy, which are both cheaper and less harmful to the environment.
Dronninglund Fjernvamre has been working for several years to develop greener and cheaper solutions. Investments include solar heating, pond storage and heat pumps, which contribute to more efficient and climate-friendly heat production. At the same time, investments are continuously made in maintenance of production equipment to ensure stable heat delivery with minimal price and quality fluctuations. With over 30 years of experience, Dronninglund Fjernvarme continues to invest in the future heat supply for the benefit of both the environment and consumers.

JS Danmark and Dronninglund Fjernvarme have worked together before, and Stig Markussen thinks that the solutions JS Danmark delivers are of high and valuable quality. It was important for Dronninglund Fjernvarme that the solution could work on multiple platforms such as website, in email signature and on Social Media, where JS Danmark was also able to develop posts for Facebook and LinkedIn.
“It’s important that we capture the target group where they are. Especially on our website, where we can use a lively and professional film to generate interest in the things we do. We also need to get out on Facebook, and I plan to be active on LinkedIn. And the material from JS Danmark can help us do that,” says Stig Markussen.

With the combination of a professional film and an interactive brochure, Dronninglund Fjernvarme achieved an overall solution that could communicate their messages clearly and effectively.
“What JS Danmark has delivered works really well. When I saw the film for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised – it had an effect on me as a person and I could immediately see how it would engage our consumers,” says Stig Markussen.
The material was developed with a strong common thread, so both the visual and written communication spoke to each other.
“I think JS Danmark hit the mark with storytelling, allowing us to capture people’s attention in a new way. We can already see that it works.”

There is nothing oversold or overcomplicated – the content is spot on, both in writing and visually.” He adds: “JS Danmark has been good at decoding my wishes and delivering a product that exceeded my initial expectations. It’s actually better than I could have imagined.”
